Social Media Socials: 3-Part Series Online and at Metroworks-Natick Common
Metroworks is excited to offer this 3-part, “Social Media Socials,” series, delivered by entrepreneur and social media expert, Glenda Carnate and marketing strategist, Paul Joseph. Each session will stand on its own and together the series will offer a comprehensive introduction, and operational guidance, on how to use today’s most relevant platforms and technologies to build community, amplify your message, and develop your business or personal brand.
Tuesday, December 17, 2024 – Session 3: Building a Scalable, Sustainable Social Media Program
Most of us know at least some of the “what,” but when it comes to the “how” of scaling and cultivating social media, we’re at a loss. “I’m too busy running my business to ‘do social media’” is a common complaint. “I’m not a technical person,” is another. In Session 3, Glenda Carnate will take us on a deeper dive into how to effectively build and manage a social media “machine,” whether through outsourcing or by taking some simple steps that will free up our time to focus on our purpose, and worry less about our process.

Tuesday, November 19, 2024 – Session 2: Messages, Markets, and Money
A famous communications consultant once said, “It’s not what you say, it’s what people hear!” Too often, though, we don’t take the time to ask “who is my audience?” Aligning your message with your targeted market segment (via their preferred media channel is the “secret sauce” of driving views, clicks, and action. Session 2 will talk more about how to present a compelling value proposition to the right people, in the right place and time (and what it’ll cost you to do so)!
Tuesday, October 29, 2024 – Session 1: Social Media 101 – Platforms and Purposes
Everyone knows about the major social platforms, but it’s not always clear which one(s) is best suited for our marketing goals. From simply broadcasting information to cultivating an online community to building a sales pipeline and sustaining a loyal customer base, there’s a tool for every job! Session 1 will provide a brief introduction to the most popular social platforms and how you and/or your business should be using them.
